The Midnight Moon

The moon , under cover of a veil

Upon the bamboo-bush beside the river

Plays hide and seek.

Lifting the veil the silvery moon

Plays water sports in the river

The silver beams of river-water

Startles the still midnight.

Some are thrilled to see it.

In the still midnight

Breaking the silence

The night-bird flies in the skies

To an unknown destination.

In The Midnight

A mosquito buzz around

In an attacking mode in the daylight

What will happen in the midnight?

A man in the broad daylight

Threatens with a dazzling knife

What will happen in the midnight?

The Sky The Moon And The Stars

There were innumerable stars

In the midnight sky.

Of them , some were unruly

All of a sudden some stars

Come swiftly from one side to the other.

Some of them fall off.

The moon was beside them

The calm, gentle moon

Smiles at the sight of it.
