Midnight Moments At The
Hacienda
It was midnight
at the hacienda.
Cowboy boots were
lined up by the door.
There was
lemonade served on
the veranda,
cooling parched throats.
Cowboys waited
until the temperatures cooled,
had a bite to eat
and hit the dusty trails,
for a late cattle
drive.
The Eyes Have It
Long lashes
covering sultry eyes-
at a midnight
rendezvous.
Special moments
captured
with a blink of
the eye.
Soothing music is
playing
In the
moonlight’s glow.
Our eyes meet in
a special moment.
Harvest Moon
Midnight moments,
on the lagoon.
Love was growing
Under a Harvest
moon.
The world was
ours in the darkness,
as we danced to
ur favorite tune.
