Magic Moment

The morning lands slowly

Towards a dawn path,

Where the light and shadow of the moon

Reveals the past thoughts ….

A magic moment

And the breathing ceases

Barefooted between the dreams, crossing over the threshold

Of the conscience

And they chase us behind

With other experience …

Everything that happened

And could happen

Again …

In the mystery of awakening

Of the confessed secrets

Suspended light

Warm embrace of the evening

And the thrill

Of the dawn of the day

The Curiosity of the unknown

Disseminated in the sleepy petals of flowers

Dreaming effervescent of dew

Which tremble

From the expectation

Of what is coming!

Runaway

We will runaway towards the clouds

to the embrace of the seagulls

to the transparent haze,

where the silhouettes are reappearing altering

two souls,

a feeling

in the scent of lips to the gilded seasons.

Silent desire,

circulated through the blue blood

through the veins which raise waves

to the bygone white plagues

slammed to the old timber of the lone boat

vanished in the grey sea.

We shall scatter stars

to the inexpressible sky

to the grail where dreams have no boundary

blazed to delight and quenched to the eternity

of a revived love

unsettled soul.

To the upcoming day

where thousands of glimmers shine

coloring the dawn with the new hope

burning the glowing heart

to the other stars

a veil above the clouds.

A wind breeze,

whispers slowly

coming from Eden, coming this long distance

two hearts, one soul

wandering through the night

an eternal feeling raised to the altar.

Vision

Lingering…,

amid the hanging thoughts

Outstretched,

up to the farthest edges

Covered …

by a thread of impossibility,

of the reason,

which clenches teeth like pincers.

humble …

with the view to the waterfalls of the wasted tears…

to the dry oasis,

mirazh mirage …

of deserted soul

among the waves…

…, with the hair drawn to the face

sad weeping willows

over the lakes of the empty soul,

scattering drowned desires

to your assorted scent…

You will remain a vision,

Star that shines in the skies

I am clasped with my nails

to your shine among the waves

and you …

to my sea,

to reach the azure.

JULJANA MEHMETI

JULJANA MEHMETI: Juljana Mehmeti was born in the city of Durres, in Albania. Since she was a child she became fond about literature and writing, especially poetry, a genre that in the following years will turn into a real life motive, a way to better express her ideas, her thoughts, her visions and metaphysics, her point of view according to her consciousness but also improving the awareness of the same suggestion that surrounds the human world. The first book “Soft – Poems” published in Italian language attracted the attention of publishers and Italian literary criticism, not only for its particular style, but also for new words, the language used, the philosophical message and the currents present in her poems that go from Hermetism to Surrealism. The second book comes from the field of translation entitled “Vramendje” – (Rimugino “) of the Italian author Alessandro Ferrucci Marcucci Pinoli, which will constitute the first experience in this field, but will also strengthen his long-standing conviction, to know and translate in his language, many popular Italian authors.. The collection of poems “Oltrepassare” is her new book, which presents itself with the new tendencies of Albanian literature, postmodernism and universal consciousness, from experimental currents to absurdity. She published in English language “In his light”  (Demer Press, 2019 and in Italian language "Namasté” (Libri di – Versi in Diversi Libri- 2020).  She currently lives and works in Ancona, Italy
