Quiet Midnight

Midnight is quiet,

Free from the madding crowd.

No sound!

Silence!!!

It is bliss,

A time to be alone

after a long day's journey into night.

To be with the self

To ponder into nothing!

No thoughts,

Empty.

Ah! What a relief!

Finally, the mind is without any thoughts.

Just peace,

In silence and solitude.

A mind is free.

Free to fly.

Just flying here and there without a destination.

The free mind flies above the sky.

Looks at the curious peeping stars,

And unites with the Moon,

A friend.

No bitterness, no discord

With peace and solace.

The platonic love joined by simplicity.

Finds its place on The Moon

To rest the head on the Moon's shoulder.

Such shelter may captivate the midnight.

Midnight settled with all care.

Midnight Offerings

Quiet Midnight

Midnight is quiet,

Free from the madding crowd.

No sound!

Silence!!!

It is bliss,

A time to be alone.

To be with the self

To ponder into nothing!

Empty.

Finally, the mind is without any thoughts.

Just peace,

In silence and solitude.

A mind is free.

Free to fly.

Just flying here and there without a destination.

The free mind flies above the sky.

Looks at the curious peeping stars,

And unites with the Moon,

A friend.

No bitterness, no discord

With peace and solace.

The platonic love joined by simplicity.

Finds its place on The Moon

To rest the head on the Moon's shoulder.

Such shelter may captivate the midnight.

Midnight settled with all care.

Midnight Solitude

Tik Tok, tik tok………

The only sound I hear.

I fall into despair.

I am alone,

No, I am not.

The Moon and the stars are with me.

Midnight passes,

Wait!

I can listen to a song.

Who is he? What he is singing?

An unknown bird sings endlessly.

Who has lost its mate?

Alone.

Just like me.

No, we are not alone!

He sings, and I listen.

Is he singing the song of departed joy?

Never to be returned?

My heart sings the same.

We both find solace in our sorrows.

Though far away,

He is near to me.

I feel his presence in his song.

My listening and his singing

Find comfort in each other.

Only in silence and solitude

At midnight.
