The Time Of Silence

(As night falls)

Closed years pass

in the troubles of time

without shame, without waiting,

empty of hope.

In vain do you look around,

in vain do you seek a hand

to support you, old man,

closed you are in your canutage

that abandons you on the cold one

lonely bench

while the party presses around ...

How many parties have passed

your days when I sing

of the birds cheered,

when you held small hands

of your children to protect them ...

Today no one is holding yours

wrinkled hands

worn out by the years,

no one next to give you joy

of a smile,

today only your crying

and your infinite loneliness,

crouched to warm you in the sun

warm, of a cold morning

that finds you alone,

today the time of silence!

In The Morning And Then At Night

The splendid morning of light is born

and illuminates the eyes of life.

Nature wakes up the smile of the sun,

the flowers shyly open their perfume

of petals a day and birdsong.

They give the cicadas, the change to the crickets,

joyful they sing the feast of life.

Your cry covers that sound, woman,

as you caress the wrinkled face

of your sick and tired man

and offer him a smile ...

Sadly you drag the path of yours

mute pain that tears the horizon,

of the murderous death that snatches you

 the heart !

No, I Can’t Sleep

Il wonder how I can

think about sleeping

peaceful sleep, WORLD.

you reel and sink.

in the cruel miasma

that involves your people

and the waters, the fields

and the mountains

and your sky and all that

evil and hate, violence,

hunger, growing misery,

innocent blood, wars,

numb.

NO, I DON’T SLEEP

and how could I, bombed

how bad news we are,

every day and EVERY day,

of this existence

that does not give us peace,

that soak up the world

and suffocates and pushes

him in despair and pain

constant, continuous,

merciless ,stifling.

The Earth burns, they burn

the woods, the mountains

collapse, the eternal glaciers

melt like fragile ice creams,

unknown and new plagues

calamities, they bring death,

the world cries tears icy.

NO, I CAN’T SLEEP!
