It Is Past Mid-Night
The night has
fallen outside
And the stars
have begun to shine
I wish I could go
to take a walk but
The moon is at
the horizon and the
Clock shows it is
almost nine
The wind has
begun to blow
I can hear its whistling
sound
I wish I could go
and feel its flow
Against my face
but the valley is
Deserted and not
a soul is found
The night has
fallen outside
Moon is shedding
its soft light
I wish I could go
and sit with the
Stars and sing a
song for my love
But the clock
shows its past midnight
Taking A Stroll In The
Night
Strewn across the
dark canvass
Of the night sky
the diamond stars-
Sine in perfect
patterns;
The wheel of time
moves in a
Set rhythm
creating and destroying
Moons and suns;
Sitting alone on
a mound of
Soil and watching
the falling of
Burning meteors;
Remembering
grandpa’s tooth-
Less smile with
stories of nights
And eerie
folklores;
The soft breeze
releases a
Melody soothing
to the fatigued
Mind and soul;
Leaving the crazy
crickets
To chirp and the
last star to shine
I ended my
stroll.
Our Story Of The Night
They tell the
stories
The stars and the
moon
About our
nocturnal stints
Across the silent
valley where a
Cool breeze makes
the trees to swoon
They tell the
stories
The meandering
clouds
About our meeting
at nights
About our parting
when it is dawn
And birds from
their nests chirp aloud
They tell the
stories
The flowers of
the night
About the joy we
feel staying
In each other’s
arms under the sky
Till from the
east comes the first light
