Midnight's Moments

Public and private feelings

of digital natives

are exposed on the cables

to the public domain.

No more pigeons

Neither moonlight serenades.

Forgotten clothes are hanging out to dry,

hot is condensing the desire to socialize

to ward off with a beep

the desolation of silences

too long retained.

Loneliness of midnight's moments

Is getting quiet on cables.

Fireflies In The Night

Fireflies in the night

your black eyes on the outskirts of mine,

Eyes down not to anchor yourself to an illusion.

A promise: your hands.

Waiting signs at the window

behind the opaque glass during the storm,

My storm, the one that laid me down

at the foot of an oak tree.

Oak branches are your hands.

 A promise: your hands.

Fireflies in the night your black eyes,

Gaze of expectation

that I cradle in intrusive dreams.

At Each Blue Window

At each blue window

I look for the sky of your smile.

You certainly see me in the distance

like when I used to play in the yard

and you looked out to tell me to come back.

I don't hear your voice like I did then

but I breathe this boundless silence

which night by night does not fade.

I love mothers, the old ones with white hair

and their look lost in the memories of their sixteen years,

I wonder why you were not given to grow old,

and you who became a feather in the coils of an evil wind,

you mother already knew it when

I was crying next to you on the last night.

You dreamed for me

immense expanses,

lavender fields,

laurel wreaths,

poppies in winter

and a sunflower next to it.
