Ann Privateer
Smiling At Midnight
Smiling flowers
Red and green
Going home
From the store
Over the weekend
To sweep away
Catastrophe
For moments
At dinner with a friend
That knows.
Tonight and Today
Under whelmed
Sleepy eyed
Set the table
Draw the curtains
Dinner at midnight
Or is it breakfast?
Moments
worlds wage peace
barriers at night
no hiding place
so be happy
the best is yet
to be, big moments
tethered to midnight
ears wide open
well-being leaps
into dreaming
together
at last.
