Midnight Hour
At the midnight
hour
while I stood on
my balcony
to take a breath
of fresh air
the city light
flashed upon my face
like stars and
diamonds
they twinkled at
every corner
the signal lights
flashed
it colored lights
and neons on the
signboards
shone from afar
what a view
from the balcony,
I got to see
the bright city
lights
at the midnight
hour
dazzling so
bright
as the city never
went to sleep
traffic moved at
high speed
flashing their
lights
everything so
bright and colorful
at this midnight
hour.
Midnight Sky
On a warm night
while air is
still cool
I take a walk on
the beach
I lie on the cold
sand
under the
midnight sky
gazing at the
twinkling stars
and the galaxy
I see the moon
play hide and seek
with the bobbing
clouds
casting shadows
on the beach
a spray of the
waves splashes
rattles my gaze
I sit up by a
giant rock
counting the
stars
for the sky is
covered in a satin gown
glittering with
stars and moons
a moment to
behold the grandeur
of the midnight
sky.
That Night By The Pier
It was a
beautiful peaceful night,
I took a walk by
the pier
I sat on a bench
and just stared at the open sea,
Where the stars
were twinkling on the water like there were little diamonds strewn around
The moonlight had
lit up the night sky
Ah, what a
beautiful night it was.
A fisherman pulls
up and as he throws the anchor into the water there is a big splash and little
diamonds are splashed everywhere
The reflection of
the moon dancing on the water
He walks up the
pier and looks at me as to ask me what I was doing here
I smiled at him,
he walked up to me and sat beside me
We chatted about
his day out at the sea.
The ocean tide
was still for some time the night seemed so peaceful except for the two of us
talking away until the wee hours of the morning
A gentle breeze
blew across my face along with a spray of water
Ah that feeling
was so refreshing
That night I made
a new friend whom I would come to see every day
But never got to
meet or see him after that
Who was her and
from where did he come or where did he go?
But I sure
enjoyed that night out with him that day!
